Clifford Tatum

Digital Scholarship Fellow

Clifford holds an MBA in International Business, an MA in Communication, and a BA in Industrial Design. After nearly ten years as engineer and project manager of large-scale systems integration, he left industry to pursue an academic career. His PhD research examines the role of openness in collaborative knowledge production. With the University of Washington Honors program, the University of Amsterdam International School, and the Virtual Knowledge Studio, he co-developed and co-teaches the VKS Summer School in Amsterdam (2006-2010). With regard to the VKS Digital Scholarship initiative, Clifford designs and develops web-based resources to facilitate collaborative communication in research practice.
