Clifford Tatum

Digital Scholarship Fellow

Clifford holds an MBA in International Business, an MA in Communication, and a BA in Industrial Design. After nearly ten years as engineer and project manager of large-scale system integration, he left the industrial sector to pursue an academic career. His PhD research examines the management of intellectual priority and competitive advantage in open collaboration. With the University of Washington Honors program, the University of Amsterdam International School, and the Virtual Knowledge Studio, he co-developed and co-teaches the VKS Summer School in Amsterdam (2006-2008 and 2010). With regard to the Digital Scholarship initiative, Clifford is responsible for redesign of the VKS website and related digital resources with a focus on the increasing use of digital media in scholarly communication.
